This Notice is issued by Carter Brothers Manufacturing Co., Inc. with regard to a voluntary recall of it’s fun-kart models listed above.

Carter Brothers Mfg. Co., Inc is conducting a voluntary recall of the models referenced above that incorporate wheel assemblies using snap-ring bearings.

Carter Brothers Manufacturing Co., Inc. has identified a potential problem of the wheel separating from the axle of the fun-kart in the event of snap-ring failure.

In order to prevent such occurrences, Carter Brothers Mfg. Co., Inc. is incorporating the use of a washer on the axle and / or spindle of the fun-kart. We have determined that the use of a washer solves the potential problem of wheel separation in the unlikely event of snap-ring failure.

Information within our warranty database indicates that you have registered a fun-kart that is potentially effected by this recall.

Please review the enclosed information and determine if your fun-kart is equipped with wheel assemblies using snap ring bearings. If so:

1. Discontinue use of the fun-kart and immediately.
2. Contact your dealer and arrange to have replacement parts installed at no charge to you, or you may perform the retrofit on your own.
